On 23rd May 2024, the Board of National Grid plc announced a capital raise of approximately GBP7.0 billion by way of a fully underwritten Rights Issue of 1,085,448,980 New Shares at 645 pence per New Share on the basis of 7 New Shares for every 24 Existing Shares.
The New Shares have now been received.
