The Government is continuing efforts to help young adults locate their Child Trust Fund (CTF) accounts, with HM Treasury and HMRC leading a national drive to reconnect account holders with unclaimed savings.
HMRC is expanding its outreach by contacting eligible individuals directly, including those turning 21, and promoting official tools designed to make it easier to trace accounts. This includes a dedicated GOV.UK service for locating Child Trust Funds.
Pilling & Co attended the meeting in support of this initiative, which aims to improve awareness of dormant assets and encourage young people to check whether they have funds available to them.
