BMO UK High Income Trust plc – Company Name Change

As reported in the Company Interim Report, on 8 November 2021, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, part of Ameriprise Financial acquired BMO`s EMEA asset management business. This included the Company`s Manager, BMO Investment Business Limited.

As part of the acquisition agreement, permission was granted to use the BMO prefix for an interim period. The Manager is now bringing its business under the Columbia Threadneedle brand and will remove the BMO name in July. Consequently, a change of name for the Company is necessary and the Board has agreed that the simplest and clearest change for shareholders is to CT UK High Income Trust PLC.

The Company`s trading instrument display mnemonic will change to CHI, CHIB and CHIU for the Company`s Ordinary shares, B shares and Units respectively. The ISIN and SEDOL numbers will remain unchanged.  Company`s shares traded under the new name and TIDMs on the London Stock Exchange with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 30 June 2022. The Company`s website address will be amended to reflect the change of name and will be available at from 4 July 2022. Shareholders are unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates should be retained and will remain valid. Any new share certificates issued will bear the name CT UK High Income Trust PLC. The investment policy and process remain unchanged with Philip Webster as Fund Manager. There is no change to the personnel running the activities of the Company in terms of both fund management and administration.
