The Board of Franklin Global Trust plc (formerly known as Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc) has announced that the Company has changed its name from Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc to Franklin Global Trust plc and a certificate of incorporation on the change of name is being issued.
Following the announcement in January 2025 by Franklin Templeton that the Martin Currie brand will retire in 2025 the Board of the Company has decided that, after careful consideration, the name of the Company should reflect the Franklin brand.
In conjunction with the change of name, the Company`s website address will shortly change to www.franklinglobaltrust.com. The ISIN and SEDOL numbers for the Company`s ordinary shares are unchanged. Shareholders are unaffected by the changes and existing share certificates remain valid and should be retained.
